Non appena avrò un po' di tempo farò una traduzione in italiano di questo post, se non altro perchè ci tengo particolarmente. Grazie all'amico Christian Peters dei Samsara Blues Experiment sono entrato in contatto con Wolf, il fondatore della World in Sound, un'etichetta che dai primi anni '90 pubblica ristampe di dischi sottovalutati provenienti dal passato, ma anche nuove uscite, sostenendo in modo la maturazione di band che nascono sottoterra e che possono fare capolino da una finestra di tutto rispetto come quella della World in Sound. Una mosca bianca per molti aspetti, proprio per questo è stato bello scambiare con questa realtà, se pur in modalità asincrona - qualche battuta. Un ultima cosa: support the underground!

SAMSARA BLUES EXPERIMENT - Revelation and Mistery World In Sound Records (2011)

After their super debut album, Thomas Vedder, Hans Bob, Richard Beherens and Christian Peters should have thought – at least for a while – whether to record another perfect psychedelic stoner rock album or go beyond it. Revelation and Mistery is the result of that choice. Berliner quartet’s second official album sounds much more “architected” and “composed” than its predecessor and add a really effective kraut-proggy attitude to the smoky atmospheres engendered by the band.
